Please note: As of October 1st 2009, we will be supplying the DA29-00003G filter to all Samsung customers ordering this cartridge. The DA29-00003G is manufactured by Samsung, and is supplied in genuine Samsung packaging. The G suffix model cartridge has been introduced with design improvements, and B cartridges are now obsolete - Rest assured if your fridge uses the older B model, then the G will definitely fit!!
The Samsung DA29-00003G cartridge is designed to replace the Samsung DA29-00003B and DA29-00003A cartridges which have been used in Samsung fridges for the past few years. Basically if your cartridge fits -inside- the refrigerator compartment itself (i.e. you have to open the door to fit it), and it is a Samsung fridge, then this cartridge will definitely fit.
The Samsung internal filter removes Chlorine, particulates, dissolved organics, and heavy metals such as lead and mercury. The cartridge uses sintered block carbon technology to ensure optimum flow rates and performance, and fits with a simple push and twist operation (like a Bayonet light bulb).
Cartridge life is 6 months or 1100 litres, whichever comes first. All customers will receive a free, no obligation postal reminder around the time the cartridge is due for replacment (these will tie in roughly with your fridge renewal light).

We do now offer a compatible cartridge for these refrigerators with a cost saving of about 30% - Please see the other products in the SAMSUNG category. However, please note if your fridge is a Samsung G-Series (purchased after August 2009), then you must use the original cartridge - We are currently making a design adjustment to ensure compatability with these models.
